Our happy little family...

I started a wonderful, amazing, fabulous new chapter in my life on May 29, 2010 when I got married to Prince Charming. That's not realistic. Prince Charming doesn't leave the shower curtain open when he's done showering...
Let me rephrase that. I married my version of Prince Charming- my
Knight in Shining Gym Shorts.
I wouldn't have it any other way!
We're like two peas in a pod.
He's more than I could have ever asked for and the Lord blessed me with my perfect match.
Thank you, God, for better halves.

My name is Britain and I'm the newlywed wife! Most everything that you could want to know about me is on the home page, but a little bit more you ask?
I am loving being married and enjoying the things that most people hate. Cleaning up my home, cooking for my little family, and running errands... It just really makes me feel like a wife that loves doing for her husband. I feel like I am glorifying the Lord in doing these things and it brings me great joy! I won't lie, I get frustrated, and sometimes dusting is annoying and lugging the vacuum down the stairs really gets my goat, but I vowed to do it. I vowed to make his home a warm, loving safe haven for him. And to me, this means making it comfortable and welcoming for when he comes home from  a long days work.
I work here and there, but mostly I'm working on getting back into school at this point (hopefully radiology soon), and taking care of the things at home. I absolutely love it... Life is good- God is great!
I love to get gussied up, hair done and make up on everyday!!!!  I just love being a girl!!! I often sing terribly as I go about my day and dance with my dog... I have cuddle time with my cat and wrap him up like a little burrito in blankets. I also like to look up new recipes and make my husband try them... The other day he told me that the Rosemary ,"really makes this dish come together." with a little smirk on his face. LOL. He has no idea what Rosemary is... he's so funny. I love being his wife so very much.

This is my husband, Dallas. He's hilarious, a dork, picks on me, makes me laugh, and best of all- he is the head of our household, our bread winner and the encourager! He works so hard everyday and still makes it a point to come home and spend quality time with me and make me feel like a princess. He's a very smart man with a true gift of leading. Whether it be at work, at home, or in any situation- he leads well and takes care of those under him... Oh he's fantastic! The Lord gave me the most wonderful husband!! He has such a fun sense of humor and cracks me up ALL the time. He loves to play golf and is really good at it... he's trying to teach me to swing a club- I'm beginning to think it's a lost cause. I'm terrible. Oh well, I can always drive the cart while he plays!

This is Doc. Or Docker, Dockerooni, Dockster... He's 15 weeks old and is a miniature australian shepherd.
He's pretty smart, potty training  is going well I suppose and he knows how to sit. He knows how to irritate the cat and how to eat socks very well. He's a puppy- what did I expect?!
We start training classes here in November, so he'll probably be jumping through hoops of fire and saving lives before we know it. :)

And this is Cullen. He's our precious cat and we love him so. He's been with us for a year and a half now- he lived with Dallas before we were married, so I think he loves him more. That's okay- Dallas loves me more than him. :) He's very rude to everyone that comes to our house... he loves to sleep under the covers, sit in the window when it's open, and sit on the counter while I do my make up. :) It's our quality time.
